Leadership Board Today’s Pastor

Today’s Pastor is committed to the development of pastors with an emphasis on relational mentoring, learning resources, benevolence and research into the needs pastors face. This organization is directed by a board of leaders with a heart for pastors.

Phil McCallum is Editor of Today’s Pastor and mentor of pastors through Infusion, a twelve month coaching experience for pastors.  He makes his home with Leslie in Colorado Springs, Colorado but has left part of his heart in the churches he has pastored and planted in Australia and Hawaii with New Hope Christian Fellowship. Phil and Leslie have two children Laurel and Levi and two foster sons Jon and Nelson.

Phil Harris serves as District Superintendent of the Colorado/Nebraska District of the Wesleyan Church. He and Betty Lou make their home in Greeley, Colorado. But don’t expect to find him there too much; for a good portion of the year they make tracks with their pickup and fifth wheeler to spend time on location mentoring the pastors they serve.

Dave Barr, is Senior Pastor of New Hope Windward, a church in Kaneohe. Dave came to faith at Saddleback Community Church and felt a call to ministry that led him out of executive leadership of a national company.  Under Dave’s leadership New Hope Windward has grown from 200 to 800 attenders in the past 5 years with one new church plant from their congregation.

Gene O’Nale is a retired United States Air Force Colonel and Academy grad. Gene makes his home in Kapolei, Hawaii, where he works for Camber Corporation as a Training Facilitator Specialist on staff with the US Pacific Command.  As a keen diver, Gene is also a leader in Hawaii Ocean Awareness Program, a Hawaii non-profit working to create an artificial reef off the shores of Honolulu with a sunken naval vessel. Gene is a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship where he administrates as a volunteer New Hope’s Hawaii Leadership Practicum for Senior Pastors from around the world.
